Lorenzo's Way at Greenbelt 5

My first time at Lorenzo's Way Greenbelt 5 was last January 2013 which is a birthday treat from my boyfriend. Lorenzo's Way is a part of LJC (Larry J. Cruz) group of restaurants together with Cafe Adriatico, Cafe Havana, Larry's Cafe and Bar, Felly J, Ang Bistro sa Remedios and Abe.

Lorenzo's Way : Where Taste Matters
Classic and Warm Interiors
Woven Placemats
Their interiors has a warm and cozy ambiance. I felt very relaxed and "at home". Their tables also has bag hooks for you to hang your handbags to keep it from accumulating dirt when placed on the floor.

Menu
Looking at their menu, I noticed that majority of their main courses are Filipino dishes like pinakbet, tilapia, ginataan, pata, dalag and even bangus. I got curious with one of their desserts called "Baklava", but I ran out of space in my tummy so I guess I just have to come back for it some other time.

The Birthday Girl!
Moi date! :D
Sweet Potato Chips
Sweet Potato Chips: It's free and it keeps my mouth busy while waiting for our orders.

Soup of the Day: Onion Soup for Php145.00
Onion Soup: It has a watery consistency but still flavorful. It contains chicken chunks and the right amount of onion leaves. This is good starter to warm your stomach before you gooble on the heavy dishes.

Crispy Baby Squid for Php175.00
Crispy Baby Squid: For the love of seafood! While waiting for our main course, we settled for the mildly filling Crispy Baby Squid with sweet chili sauce. And oh, the squids were cooked just right for they are mildly chewy and doesn't have a foam like texture when bitten.

Knockout Knuckle (Sharing) for Php595.00
Knockout Knuckle: All hail the Queen, hahahaha!!! Can you feel your nape thicken and the blood rushing though your veins? It is smothered with browned garlic and is served with their signature crispy pata sauce and atchara. This one's a winner! The skin is crispy, the meat is tender and juicy. Make sure to slip in some atchara in between bites to avoid getting "umay". :)))

Note: Their prices are inclusive of VAT and subjected to 10% Service Charge.

I would definitely recommend this place specially for Filipino food lovers. Their prices are also very reasonable knowing that they are located at Greenbelt 5 and majority of their menu dishes comes in family sized servings. They also have friendly staffs and a cozy ambiance, perfect for you to celebrate any occasion or milestone with your loved ones.
