AySee's

I am the type of girl who eats her heart (or stress)-out. If I am to describe my diet, I would say that it is a balance of colors and food variety. The thing is that I tend to over-eat most of the time. Yes, I do eat a lot in a way that it resemble those of a construction worker.

One of my top 2 comfort menu is sisig and pipapaitan. I am a Pangasinense. My mother is a Pangalatok while my father in an Ilocano. "Naawatam/Atalusan mo?" Though none among my family side knows how to cook sisig, I grew up eating "kilawen". Oh, mind if I tell you that my mom cooks the best "spicy beef pipapaitan" that I ever tasted. :)

Being far from my 'rents, I always try to comfort myself with food that tastes nearly the way it was cooked at home. Last week, my boyfriend and I decided to go to Tiendesitas for dinner and to window shop for cute pets. Being a common restaurant recommendation at work, we decided to dine at AySee's.

Beach Lamps hang around the area.
Relaxing, isn't it?

Guess what we had for dinner?!

Appetizer: Calamares for Php120.00
Calamares: Not so good yet not that bad either. I just don't know why I can't decide between the two, haha!

Main Course 1: Pork Sisig w/ Egg for Php130.00 (can serve 2)
Pork Sisig with Egg: The most hyped about dish by everyone who has dined at AySee's. Yes, it really is delicious but it lacks the staying power that I already felt the "umay" factor after finishing my share (half serving). Bacolod Chicken Inasal's Pork Sisig is still my ultimate sisig dish.

Main Course 2: Papaitang Baka for Php130.00 (can serve 2)
Papaitang Baka: This for me is their best dish. It reminds me of my Mom's papaitan way back home. It has the right amount of bitter taste and meat servings. Unlike other restaurants who simply overload it with soup and internal organs, you will find a balanced of meat cuts with this papaitan. It is also served on a pan with stand and is burning charcoal to keep it warm.

If you are a meat lover cowgirl/boy, this place is you best bet. Especially when you are to meet your friends for a get together "inuman" session. You also don't have to worry about spending too much dime since their food comes in large servings.
